Post 19 Session

Session 1=2.5
Session 2=2.5
Session 3=2.5
Session 4=2.5
Session 5=2.5
Session 6=2.8

I was just happy I can perfect n-2 most of the time and reach n-4 every now and then at this point.

I will take the U.S. Real Estate license test very soon. I will keep you posted.

    Hello, Ronnette.

Many thanks for posting all of your sessions. Can you tell us over what period you trained? Were you training every day?

    Well done!

    Martin

    Hi Martin,

I was training everyday on my first 6 session, but then I took a month off. Then back on again for an everyday 30 minute session, and then I took 2 sessions, just one time to see how I would do for two straight sessions. I don’t think it helps, rather it brought my score down. Maybe because I became tired. However, when I went back again the next day, that is when I saw changes on the n-2 pattern. I tend to perfect most of them. I still have to concentrate though and not to have my mind wonders. I know when I miss n-2 I have too many things in my mind.

Also, BFP reinforces about others view me. Everybody tells me I am a perfectionist. I never look at it so negatively, but it hurts me along the way. BFP keeps my mind in perspective. I see, feel, think differently now on how I look at any situations. So, I found this quote that is so true and perfect for what I’m trying to convey.

“Aim for success, not perfection. Never give up your right to be wrong, because then you will lose the ability to learn new things and move forward with your life. Remember that fear always lurks behind perfectionism. Confronting your fears and allowing yourself the right to be human can, paradoxically, make yourself a happier and more productive person.” -Dr. David M. Burns.

Thank you very much Martin. I will keep training and keep you posted.

I’ve started on August 7, 2009 and trained for six consecutive days. Then finish the 19th session on October 24, 2009. I’ve been continuing my training everyday thereafter. I don’t want to missed a day on this second 19 batch session.

I still tend to wonder on n-3. I hate to say that n-2 is always perfect, I don’t want to be stuck on n-2! I’m going to keep trying!

I like the fact that BFP is an adaptive test. Do you know that U.S. CPA exam is an adaptive test too?

    Sorry for grammar errors.

    Hi Martin,

Observation: I’m doing the same thing with n-3 as I perfected n-2. However, not by choice, but by chance. What am I doing wrong that my brain was just too stuck with n-3 before I move on to n-4? I hit n-4 one to two times now and always reverted me back to n-3. Frustration comes and even takes me to n-2. Does anybody always perfect one level before they can move on? I see that you can missed one or two and not even hit anything that might have put you into a real missed then it gets you to the next level. I’d like to hear others opinion/experience on this. Thank you.

    @Ronnette

My own sense is that it’s not necessary to perfect one n-level before experiencing the next n-level. For instance, I have worked with n=8 and n=9, and I continue to struggle sometimes with n=5, n=6, and n=7.

    Warm regards,
    Shaun

    Thanks Shaun,

I still struggle with n=3 and n=4. My high average is 2.9. I am just so happy to hit n=4 every now and then. I actually took the sample test from the http://www.smartestofus.com. My IQ level is 107.5. It puts me in the top 50″% of the U.S. population. I don’t really know what that means:-)

I admire your score, what would be the best subjective thing to do to enhance our G level in addition to BFP? I’d like to increase my score the next time I take the “smartestofus” test.

    Hi Ronnette:

I actually took the test from http://www.smartestofus.com too. Here was there reply:

Your Smartest of the U.S score is 78.25 The average score for all Smartest of the U.S. Test takers is 91.86 This average score will change a more people take the test and will be closer to standardized test averages.

You are the one of the Below Average people in the United States.

I don’t really know what that means either. To put it into context, here is a link that lists my performance on other IQ tests:
