Session number: 3
Average n-back: 2
Duration (estimate in minutes): 30
Today was the first time I only had 4 misses…on just one block. I’m still mostly getting about 7-10 misses. Have to say I’m feeling a little discouraged..I’m 60, so maybe it just takes more time.

Hello, Linda.
Stay with it! I can understand your feeling of discouragement. The first few days can be particularly tough.
You’re right that at 60 it would take a little longer to get into the training. Past the age of forty we begin to lose about 1% of our short term memory each year — that adds up.
The good news is that if you stick with the training you can regain short term memory and focus.
Larry’s experience may give you hope: http://mindsparke.com/brain-training-blog/brain-exercises/working-memory-report-larry-first-two-periods/
