How To Increase IQ | Research Tested, Real World Results
"I took a Mensa home test prior to the training and didn't pass. Then I did the IQ increase training course, took the actual Mensa test, and got in!" - Anne, Harvard, MD knows how to increase IQ
"[My] full scale IQ has been verified as 151, an IQ increase of at least 21 points." - Lloyd knows how to increase IQ
How to Increase IQ | Brain Training Program
How to increase IQ: Brain Fitness Pro uses the only intelligence training method proven by independent research to increase IQ. Brain training with
Brain Fitness Pro will increase IQ scores on any intelligence test and
any standardized test or exam for college entry, grad school admission, civil service, armed forces, or professional qualification, such as the SAT, LSAT, GRE, MCAT, GMAT, OQTs, acturial, CPA, and bar exams.
How to Increase IQ | The Research
In 2008, brain fitness researchers from the Universities of Michigan and Bern set out to understand whether it was possible to increase IQ, and if possible to show how to increase IQ using intensive brain training with a challenging working memory exercise. The team published joint, independent research
1 showing that an intensive period of brain training with the "
dual n back" working memory exercise could significantly increase intelligence. The study demonstrated a fluid IQ increase
for all participants of more than 40% in comparison to a control group who did not train. (The researchers calculated the fluid intelligence increase from the number of correct answers given to a standard set of IQ test questions

How to Increase IQ | Long Term Gains
In 2011, the same researchers published a follow up study demonstrating that the intelligence gains from n-back training last long term. Using n-back brain training software for a group of school children, the researchers tested the children’s IQs before and after training and then again after three months.
"These new studies demonstrate that the more training people have on the dual n-back task, the greater the improvement in fluid intelligence," said Dr. Jonides, senior researcher on the study. "It's actually a dose-response effect. And we also demonstrate that the much simpler single n-back training using spatial cues has the same positive effect."
In addition to an IQ increase the researchers found that the IQ training made children less likely to be distracted by invalid or irrelevant information.
They also studied how the n-back training affected brain activity finding two effects: "After training, people had reduced amounts of blood flow in active brain regions when they were doing training tasks. And they had increased amounts of blood flow in those regions when they were not doing training tasks.
"In some ways, this is much like training a muscle in the body, and in some ways, it is different. When new muscle fibers have been grown as a result of training, they require greater blood flow when they are not being used. However, by contrast, when the new muscles are in use, they require more blood, unlike the trained regions of the brain."
How to Increase IQ | The Science
If you want to know how to increase IQ and how it is even possible to increase native intelligence it is important to understand the underlying brain science. With brain training to strengthen attentive focus and working memory capacity we reduce the overlapping demands placed on the brain's processing power and thereby increase intelligence.
MindSparke has continued the early research with extensive, real world studies into how to increase IQ even further.
MindSparke has evolved and extended the classic dual n-back working memory exercise -- the IQ training protocol -- enabling you to increase your IQ beyond that achieved in the original study.
Brain training to increase IQ has a distinct advantage over traditional
test prep training approaches in that the gains reflect an organic IQ increase as a result of gains in raw problem-solving ability; the IQ increase is permanent. You'll take the IQ increase with you into your daily life and any new course of study, position, or vocation.
