Brain Training Report – Catherine – Stage 4, Session 54

Stage: 4

Session number: 54

Average n-back: 2

Hello, I am really impressed with the training colors/nines (at the same time). No one drop of progress with the visual part (colours) and still n=2. Why memorising colors while counting at the same time is so challenging ? The only way to memorise colors is saying the name of the colour in my brain but cannot count at the same time. Any tips? Thank you. C

I got n=3 for some blocks but I’m not able to keep the level. it’s quite challenging, after the first item it’s complicated for me to keep the attention.

Stage: 3

Average n-back: 2.4

Now my progress throughout a block looks like and (almost perfect) zig zag. I just wish I could maintain it at n=3…

Brain Training Report – Marty – Stage 3, Session 8

Thursday, April 5th, 2012

Stage: 3

Session number: 8

Average n-back: 2.4

n=2 performance was good (at least for me) today. I was able to attain n=3 almost every other block. Even though I still cannot maintain at n=3, the ratios are getting better.

hit to miss/incorrect ratio on n=3 is improving a bit. Still not good enough to maintain at this level, though.

Brain Training Report – yuliya – Stage 3, Session 1

Stage: 3

Session number: 1

Average n-back: 2.35

I liked it. Challenging, but I could feel my brain working out, similar to a muscle “hurting”, which motivated me a great deal. I shall stick with it and post here later. I have a question, however. Is to OK to practice a stage or two before training? Or is it counter-productive? Thank you so much for all your work and this program! I have already recommended you to several of my friends.

Brain Training Report – Marty – Stage 4, Session 5

Sunday, April 1st, 2012

Stage: 4

Session number: 5

Average n-back: 2.3

This session was relatively good. I’m getting a (little) bit better at n=3, but cannot yet maintain that level of performance.

Definitely feeling a nice level of comfort with n=2. I find that if I focus my attention on the 3×3 grid as a whole, I have more success than focusing on a particular aural/visual cue and trying to remember what I just heard/saw.

Will keep working on it!
