Brain Training Report – Aaron – Stage 3, Session 29

Thursday, November 10th, 2011

Stage: 3

Session number: 29

Average n-back: 3.15

My second best session on level 3. It is nice to be able to finally stay above n-3 on consecutive sessions. Hope to keep seeing progress. 3.50 is my next goal on this level, not sure 1f 4.0 is feasible for me on level 3.

Creating an optimum environment.

Stage: 3

Session number: 1

Average n-back: 2.5

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had any advice on how to create the perfect serene environment for maximum concentration.

At the moment, I switch off the lights, turn on two aromatherapeutic candles and put the screen on “full screen”.

Is this an effective way of training or is it bad for my eyes?

I’d love to hear your methods and what you find to be the best way to get the most out of your training.

regards,

John Chalmers.

Brain Training Report – Jerry – Stage 3, Session 45

Friday, November 4th, 2011

Stage: 3

Session number: 45

Average n-back: 2.8

felt good, had a hard physical workout , came back to brain train. felt focused, then out and in, here and there. but overall, felt pretty good. The results are GREAT. still loving it. it’s funny how many people training their bodies, but when I ask do they train their brain, they look at me like, uh…nope. it’s common sense. you don’t use it, you’ll lose it. Onward and Up. lost to accomplish in the near future and this new brain training is a must for me to reach incredible heights. Create a Brilliant day, people.

Brain Training Report – Aaron – Stage 3, Session 24

Tuesday, November 1st, 2011

Stage: 3

Session number: 24

Average n-back: 3.25

I finally did it! I averaged over 3 for the first time on stage 3. I could tell when the session began that I was feeling it tonight. Why can I not feel like that all of the time? Very excited to see progress! I guess the next goal is to average 3.50 than the big one 4.0 which seems impossible at this point.

Do not give up, keep working!!!!!

YES! i went to a new level. I was able to stick to n3 for a bit and then bounced to n4 for a bit. WOW! my brain was on fire. serious training today. I can feel this working so well. I even finished another book, and zipping through one after the other. My wife is amazed at all the reading i’m doing. I told her at age 50, i’m playing catch up. it feels so good. Thank you Martin and Mind Sparke. wow. what a difference. I’m sleeping better, more focused. totally different frame of mind than before i started this. my writing has gone through the writer’s block. i’m ecstatic. I was getting bummed because stage 3 was tough and today, well actually it was yesterday had a slight breakthrough and now today…BOOYAH! YES! Thank you GOD! I feel like a million bucks.

Best session yet but towards the end my brain called “no mas” which hurt my score. Made it to 4 twice and that seems impossible to me. Happy to see progress!

Stage: 3

Session number: 12

Average n-back: 4

score of 3.7.. im feelings really weird..my brain is getting bigger lol.. in fact my scores are:

stage 1 : session 16 : score 8.4
stage 2 : session 16 : score 8.4
stage 3 : session 12 : score 3.7

i never thought i can reach n=10 in first 2 stages!! and n=5 in stage 3!

when i started i thought n-3 in stage one is impossible.. and who would do that! after 15 session im at 10!

is my brain actually getting bigger :D !?

P.S. my BFI got messed up now im less then (TO) in (ALL) in the chart..i dont know if that mean im not that smart .. but in age group the (TO) is 563 and mine now is 549 BFI so im almost there.. :)

Brain Training Report – Jennifer – Stage 3, Session 9

Stage: 3

Session number: 9

Average n-back: 2.1

Tough one tonight-had to push through and finish an entire session. Would’ve helped if I had done the meditation beforehand. Couldn’t calm the monkeys in my mind. Showed up in my audio score. Much lower than my visual. I’ll see if training with just the audio might help.
