Session number: 18
Average n-back: 3.65
Duration (min.): 35
Hi BFPers,
To be honest – it turned out to be an emotional training today. My 18th session – only one more to go to finish the first round of training – and I’m not where I want to be.
Of course, I am where I am, and that’s ok. It has to be. But I realize that after many gains throughout, the fall back yesterday hurt my confidence.
Today I gained a little from the low I had yesterday but not close to my high. I fell back to n=2 again and struggled with n=4s again. I did reach n=5 which I will acknowledge as a goal met but my overall feeling at the end of today’s training is one of almost defeat. Funny.
Tomorrow is my last training. I am hoping that I can make a personal best. If not, I hope I can just enjoy it and acknowledge my gains over the last 19 or so days.
Here is the run down of today’s training:
n=3 1 miss
n=4 4 misses
n=4 6 misses
n=3 0 misses
n=4 6 misses
n=3 1 miss
n=4 5 misses
n=4 9 misses
n=3 0 misses
n=4 2 misses
n=5 6 misses
n=4 4 misses
n=4 4 misses
n=4 6 misses
n=3 6 misses
n=2 0 misses
n=3 0 misses
n=4 4 misses
n=4 5 misses
n=4 7 misses
Start next session n=3
Hope you all had a great weekend. Tomorrow I wake up to shovel – we’re supposed to get over a foot of snow again tonight yeah!
Peace, Shawn
